Okay, Seagate tools did nothing, I'm at a loss of options here. I'm currently running the drive through Testdisk in an attempt to rebuild the drive's boot sector and MFT.

Yeah, trying to use the cd command in cmd from the win8 disc does not work because "the file structure is corrupted and unreadable". I'm currently having Seatools "fixing" the hard drive, although I don't think it will work, I'll report back once it's done, it's been running for about 2 hours now.

I unplugged all drives but the drive with Windows on it. Bootrec does not seem to help, as it still reports 0 installations when I run "Bootrec /rebuildbcd".

I don't think this will work out well considering I cannot access the files on the C drive, and chkdsk cannot check the C drive. Would it still be able to keep my files?
