I found easy and better way to resolve this Go to control panel > all control panel items > troubleshooting Select "Fix problems with Windows Update" from System and Security This will resolve the update issus, once done. You can update your windows without any issue

Didn't worked for me. Even though I did repair it through cmd and tried installing windows update again. Now I am stuck, can't update windows to 8.1

As per topic title, I downloaded and installed DriverEasy on my laptop to update drivers but the download speed through it is too slow. Is there anyway to increase the speed or am better off to download the drivers manually Thanks

I have made USB recovery disk. Also I did ordered Windows 8 media dvd if I need to do clean install. The only software I want to keep from bloatware is Dolby Home Theater V4 which I really like. Anyway to do clean install and keeping that software, thanks

As per topic, I am after doing clean install on my laptop to get rid of bloatware, but there are 2 preinstalled softwares I would like to re-install. How can I do that? Thanks
