    FYI... Learned two sets of ram in the system were different voltages. Removed one set. Problem persists.

    I was unable to locate GWscan that would work with my win8. I did however use the intel ssd full diagnosis scan again with no errors. Could you point me in the direction of GWscan? Many thanks for your assistance!

    Also... looking at event viewer in windows I see a critical error logged at this same time which doesn't make sense seeing as I had shut down the computer properly. "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding...
