I also wish that the keyboard would pop up automatically when clicking in a field. It does this in the modern UI applications, including IE10, but not in the desktop applications. I have gotten used to this happening in Android and IOS. It should be a setting.

I am running Windows 8 Pro with WMC on three PCs...an i7 quad core, an i3 tablet, and a QX9650 desktop, and none of them exhibit this issue at all. The only issue I have had has been with Chrome locking up quite a bit.

I upgraded three PCs to Windows 8 Pro. Two were 64-bit and one was 32-bit. I used the 64-bit ISO from one of the 64-bit systems to do a clean install on the 32-bit system, so all three are 64-bit now. The product keys are the same for both.

I am thoroughly enjoying my new Fujitsu Stylistic Q702. The high resolution on the 10" screen of the Surface Pro is too high for me. The Q702 has an 11.6" screen and a 1366x768 resolution, which is perfect for my old eyes.
