Yes, I did. It works till 64% if I run it from DVD and if I copy it to hard drive and run it from there it stuck at 65.8% and throws an error, which is also mentioned on MS site but no workaround is mentioned.

How do you access Windows update in Windows 8? But I doubt even that would work.

I tried it but still get the same error 0x800f0906. I'm pretty sure my internet connection is not the problem since I could connect to Microsft's update URL.

I can't install .NET Framework 3.5 no matter what I do. I tried downloading it and in the midway get the error 0x800f0906. I tried installing through DISM but that didn't work either. It always stops at 65.8 %. Can somebody tell me how to fix it? It's really driving me nuts.
