I used to get this after I overclocked my 2600k using Asus suite. It only did it when the CPU was being worked though. Like bluray encoding. I reset the overclock in bios and did in again manually at a slightly lower clock and all is well.

That may be the case. However, a friend of mine upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and it still works for him with no issues.

this is exactly how I used to do it with windows 7 and it worked flawlessly, however with windows 8 it is a different story. I have tried clean installs of Win8, upgrades from a properly configured Win7 and the xbox streaming will not work with Win8 I do not know why

I figured it out I had to upgrade to Windows 7 and get a refund for Windows 8.

I am having the same problem and its annoying. Worked fine with Windows 7 and doesn't work with Windows 8 probably end up switching back top Windows 7
