SettingSyncHost - Host for Setting Syncronization

    Hi!

I got myself a new machine with Vertex 4 SSD and installed Windows 8 Pro on it.
As any normal SSD user I am, of course, paranoid of any excessive disk writes

Windows 8 has this new amazing Task Manager which is great for paranoia to fire up since it shows up quite a bit of everything.
In it, I noticed a new process I'm not familiar with - SettingSyncHost which is very active and does A LOT of disk writes (it does all the time, as a matter of fact).

I've killed the process and nothing obvious and terrible happened, but I'd really like to know what this process is doing and why is so eager to kill my precious Vertex 4 .

I googled of course, but even mighty google is oblivious about this process.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Mario
