Running Win8 x64 Enterprise RTM, dual boot with Win7 Ultimate.

Win7 seems to be deleting Win8 restore points. Restore points created in Win8 are deleted after a boot into Win7 and then back into Win8.

Win7 System Restore has both drives (C=Win7, H=Win8) set for restore.

All restore points in Win7 are not affected.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

I'd turn if OFF in Windows 7 for the H=Win8 drive.
That doesn't seem to help. I have tried it both ways and I see the same problem. I noticed this in RP and its the same in RTM.

Use several different computers during a day, so specs are irrelevant.
I'd turn if OFF in Windows 7 for the H=Win8 drive.

As Jim says, that does not work, unfortunately.

As regards editing the registry, I think I will wait until someone else has tried that!!!!!!

I remember the problem from XP to Vista/Win7, and used the solution then.
