Multi-monitor, how to choose which screen shows Metro?

My "primary monitor" is set to the smaller of the two so the Metro start menu shows up on it. Occasionally, though, it'll show up on the secondary screen. Does anyone know how to control this? Sometimes I watch Netflix on the smaller one and would rather have Metro show up on the secondary screen.

Thanks, I hope this made sense.

Go down to the lower left corner of the screen you want it to open on and click the Start Menu Tile there. I don't know how you move it once its open. There is likely a keyboard short cut for that but I don't know what it is. By default it should open on the primary monitor.

Playing around with that, it seems whichever screen I open the start menu on by clicking the lower left becomes the default, and the menu opens there when pressing the windows key. If I then open it by clicking on the lower left in the other monitor, that one now becomes default.

At least that's held true so far. Thanks!

Hi there
on some keyboards it's actually Windows key + P you need to press -- could be language dependent -- don't know but on IS and UK keyboards its Win + P (just tried with a Horrible AZERTY keyboard too -- really HATE those --well I'm not French !!) and it's the same.

cheers

Windows key + Page up or page down will "move" your open Metro screen from one monitor to the other. ;)
Windows key + P will let you select single or dual monitor use.

Hi there
I miss read the original post

I was in the DESKTOP. I have no use for Metro currently.

In the desktop the Windows and Prt screen does nothing on my system. Mutiple presses of Windows + P allow you to Change monitors
as you say. Mis understood what was required.

Cheers

I tend to avoid Metro to, that's why it took me so long to figure out the hot keys to move it. If your monitor supports the Metro Snap feature I think you can just drag the Metro window from one screen to the other. My monitors aren't wide screen so no Metro Snap for me.
