Battery Percentage Indicator - Is it available?

Hello,
I've always enjoyed a battery percentage indicator on the taskbar. Where you can click or hover over & it will give the percentage left & approximate amount of time left on the battery. It appears that in Metro it will only show an image of a battery where you can kinda tell if it's maybe halfway used, etc.

Is there a way to turn on an indicator or customize the existing one?

Thanks

Could try looking in the app store for a new one. Eventually, that's where upgraded features will all be located...

As observed in other threads here, you can always go to the desktop and get the same old indicator that's always been available (or use third-party tools, like Battery Bar). OTOH, when you call up the charms (sweep in from right of touchscreen or use the Windows key-C combination) you get an indicator at the lower left that shows wireless signal strength, battery level, time and date as well.

Thanks for your thoughts guys, I appreciate it. I was hoping that I didn't have to go to the old desktop just to see the percentage level, as well as the approximate time left. I imagine that information will be available one day as mentioned in the 1st reply. I still spend much of my time in the desktop, so that works out OK

Thanks,
