Hi,
I recently got a new HP notebook, and the notebook comes with this feature of adaptive brightness, so if i'm looking say at a black screen the display will dim, and if i'm on a bright screen, the display will of course get brighter.
The thing is that when it does this the bright part of the display will then look washed out, and the way I found out how to fix this is when I boot it in Normal Startup. However, MSC is very stubborn on keeping itself in selective startup, despite the fact that I have made no changes to the boot sequence at all, and I would really like it to stick on normal startup.
This only happens on battery and I have changed the power plan to not happen but it still does.
Help would really be appreciated
Shane
