I've been trying to run 'Refresh your PC without affecting your files' because I got rid of some malware but annoyingly and strangely I was unable to get rid of it using a system restore point which simply wouldn't work, so I thought I'd refresh my PC to try and ensure everything is running fine. However whenever I do this it says: "Insert Media. Some files are missing. Your Windows installation or recovery media will provide these files.' But if I insert my 64 bit Windows 8 Pro installation disc, it says: "The media inserted is not valid. Make sure that you've inserted your Windows installation or recovery media." Does anyone know why this might be or what I could do about it please??
I'm running Windows 8.1 on a Toshiba Satellite P855-32G and I originally installed Windows 8 Pro myself using the exact same CD when the laptop was fresh from factory (it didn't come pre-installed as I got my laptop as a reject due to a dead pixel so it came with no OS).
