Dear everyone!!!

Not something shocking I believe, but I hope there are people here which had similar problems or perhaps even EXACTLY the same ones as me.

My specs are:

Asus N751JX
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz
16GB DDR3
Display adapter 0
Display name \\.\DISPLAY1
Name Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
Board Manufacturer ASUSTeK Computer Inc.
Memory size 1024 MB
PCI device bus 0 (0x0), device 2 (0x2), function 0 (0x0)
Vendor ID 0x8086 (0x1043)
Model ID 0x0416 (0x17BD)
Performance Level 0

Display adapter 1
Name NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M
Board Manufacturer ASUSTeK Computer Inc.
Codename GM107
Technology 28 nm
Memory size 4095 MB
PCI device bus 1 (0x1), device 0 (0x0), function 0 (0x0)
Vendor ID 0x10DE (0x1043)
Model ID 0x139A (0x17BD)
Performance Level 0

I managed to open the .dmp file with the help of WinDbg. And I put the "Symbols" directory on the OS drive.

This is what it said after analyzing it:

Furthermore when using sfc /scannow I get this message:
C:\>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some
of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For
example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not
supported in offline servicing scenarios.

Perhaps the dump and this system file checking are related? I will upload this file for you now as an attachment :)

I may also note that I repeatedly tried to run sfc /scannow. About 4 times (cleaned the CBS file once since it was getting bigger) but the error message remained, saying some files couldn't be fixed. Now I can't make head nor tail about what's in the CBS.log file. Hope someone can figure it out with me. The system is actually running fine most of the time though. I only had that reboot above once today.

I might also add that I also tried sfc /scannow /offbootdir=c:\ /offwindir=c:\windows but I also get an error it can't be run due to the online dir is the same as the offline dir or something. I opened up diskpart and "list volume" but the partition of 100MB reserved doesn't have a drive letter. Is this normal?
diskpart - list volume.JPG

So I cannot run an offline check.

I haven't tried DISM yet. (Yes I read quite well here on the forum before I asked hehe. But still I am very new at all this and I hope together we can fix my files somehow!)

Let's see what we can do! :D

EDIT:

I also just ran this:
Dism - Online - Cleanup-Image - RestoreHealth 2.JPG

The result was this:
Dism - Online - Cleanup-Image - RestoreHealth.JPG

Now I suppose I need to rerun SFC ?

Well I am back and just did the above indeed, on advice from our wise Ganesha Sharanam from India :) Thanks a lot!
Look! No more errors!!
SFC Scannow.JPG

But what about the .dmp file above? I will upload this file as well. Hopefully someone can figure it out for me. But I am glad I fixed the sfc with some good help here!!!

Hi Tumalu,

Welcome to the 8forums.
The sfc errors are, if I'm correct, from AMD drivers of the CPU.
Updating or reinstalling may solve it.

But its best to wait for an expert.
Also for the bluescreen you may want to open a new thread in BSOD Crashes and Debugging and read this thread BSOD Posting Instructions.

Hello David. Thank you for replying :)

So you already checked out the file I guess? I got a new .dmp file as well. It just happened when I came home and was away for more than a hour. This time my battery of the notebook was at 4% and I got a BSOD. I have the .dmp file btw. It only happens on battery and never on AC.

Would you want me to upload the .dmp files to you?
