Hi ,I have a problem whith my cpu and system temp .
When I start the PC the temp of mobo is 34 C (it's very hot in this days from where I am),and cpu's temp is 33 C but when i stay a bit on youtube or when i want to start a game the temp is rising very fast on cpu (it's risint until is shutdown's ,aprox to 120 C )and my mobo temp is rising to 60 allmost.
I changed the paste I bought a new cooler (is contac 21 cooler) and the problem wasn't fixed.
Can someone help me to fix this problem?

Hi there wolffyx, its really hot, these days in Greece, but your real problem is the old hardware you are running on.
Dont spend any more on that machine, save up and get yourself anything newer, there are excellent choices even in the 1155 socket, cheap, affordable and productive machines.
A Sempron these days? You must be good...

I am but I don't have the Sempron any more.
I changed my Sempron and I have an Athlon 64 x2 ,on Sempron wasn't this problem (the temp stayed at 40 max ,was a good cpu),but now i have this Athlon and is killing me with this problem

Any way you look at it,them CPU's are outdated, temperatures are only a part of performance issues, they must be struggling to run Windows 8.
Do reseat your cooler, use the dot method for TIM,make sure you apply equal pressure to each bracket corner, add af fan, manage your cables, get practical!

I find somethin on mobos site for an update for bios temp to ajunst it.(this is the site http://www.foxconnsupport.com/downl...001&Series=en-us0000007&keywords=K8M890&sort=
on the search reuslt go to bios and then go to the last result with RS2H ,is down there)
To do it if it's not work?

I dont think there is an option, under any BIOS update, that would allow you to adjust the core temperature, just doesnt make any sense.Maybe a more accurate reading by its sensors, but thats it.
Maybe it is a "contacting' issue,CPU lid might not be as flat as it should be,thus not making a perfect match with your cooler. If you do insist in practically doing something, why not trying lapping your CPU lid and your cooler's base as well?Never did it myself but people are swearing that it worked.

First things first, even if you survive deliding,CPU lid still might be "curved",check its surface in a cross pattern with a razor,do the same with the cooler, might save you the risk...

Hey man I think I find the problem ,I looked one more time on my cpu and i saw a bit of paste on cpus pins.I cleaned the pins and now the higher temp is 64 but I think it's a bit to high for an Athlon 64 x2 , but what I saw an pc when I start it is cpu's temp is 23 and cores temp has 64 when i test the cpu.I think the difference is too high , can be from the paste between cpu and cpu's cores?
And I have difference temp on cores ,about 3-4 degrees.

Correct me if i misunderstood. When booting you have like 23C and while testing-benching you are getting 64?Sounds pretty good, benching up to 64 is like, you cant get it any better.
There should not be any paste anywhere but your CPU's surface, less is always more, the dot method is recommended by the majority of people, tinkering with their systems.
The three to four degrees difference is usual, nothing to worry about.
Since you re-checked your processor, did you take a razor to confirm if its surface is all flat? The cooler?

If you see in the image cpu temp on my laptop is equal with cores temp, but on pc cpu temp is 23 even if cores temp has 64 oe 70 (when is in test). Not when I start the pc has 23 and is goes at 64 that it is normal for me too, but the cpu temp is allways stays on 23 even if cores temp are 64-65 or 100.

I dont have that much of difference. On the other hand,i trust coretemp more than any other app. Please install version 1.05 RC5 and do NOT install version RC6,it gave me trouble every time i tried.HWinfo is also pretty accurate...
