    Hello all. New boy here. For reasons beyond my ken I am having trouble with WerFault.exe. It is preventing me opening all sorts of files and has become a general pain in the rear. Anyone able to help please?

    Thanks alpha001. I tried that too but it is not suitable for Windows 8. For the time being I have done a system restore and the problem disappeared. Then as I tried to install Java it made a reappearance. Eventually I got Java loaded and the problem went away. There must have been a corrupt file in one of the original Java downloads. Thanks for trying.
