Brand New HP Laptop Very Slow
Hi, I recently purchased a new laptop and it is incredibly slow. Everything just feels so slow and takes forever to load websites. I can't even watch a Youtube video on 480p without it out lagging and the sound continuing to play but the video just stops.

Processor family AMD Dual-Core E-Series processor
Processor AMD Dual-Core E1-6015 APU with Radeon R2 Graphics (1.4 GHz, 1 MB cache)

Display 14" diagonal HD BrightView WLED-backlit (1366 x 768)

Would greatly appreciate some help! Cheers.

Have you run a benchmark to check your bandwidth? It sounds like network throughput isn't up to what you are used to. Perhaps the network interface isn't optimized.

Networx is great for checking throughput. Also didn't say if WiFi or connected by LAN cable. Kind of assume WiFi.

That's a thought. I once got a PC I bought online with a noisy HD. It would not even boot to the bios. The drive was obviously bad. But if I let support talk me into trying to fix it, then I would have owned the lemon. I shipped it back for refund pronto.
