Hey guys,
Ive been scouring the net for solutions on how to get my new Windows 8.1 pc to sleep. Ive attempted to remove the Homegroup, unselect IpV6 setting under the Ethernet adapter, remove the Wake option from the keyboard and mouse, etc. Nothing works.

Regardless what power options I chose, the PC wakes up on its own. I have one software running in the background for music only. Its Jriver and its stopped when trying to sleep. I can even manaully put the pc to sleep by hitting the power button but it still wakes up on its own.

Any suggestions?

Oh, I cant disable the option to "wake on Lan", my Jriver music remote needs to be able to wake it up if I ever get it to sleep:)

Thanks.

I ended up disabling all but the "allow magic packets" to wake the pc in the ethernet card device manager settings. This seems to have worked so far! I will know more when I get home, ha!
