Troubleshoot option missing, Recovery Partition Broken

Hello, I an having a huge problem with my Lenovo P500 right now.

I resized the partition by 52 GB, and now the Troubleshoot option in advanced startup options don't work, and now, my OneKey Recovery crashes (via startup option). It says "OneKey Recovery has damaged, so don't boot main application".

Nothing seems to be working for me.
I tried using dism but that doesn't work. I tried SFC but it just won't fix the files. I tried refreshing my PC via PC Settings but I need a recovery disc. The rest of the system works fine, though.

by creating another partition - you bumped back your recovery partition by 1 (meaning is was registered as say partition 5 and it now resides in partition 6 )

right click start flag > command prompt(admin)
type> diskpart
type> select disk 0
type> list volume

You will see a lot of volumes without drive letters assigned.. Find the 10-20GB volume number
type> select volume # (# being the volume number without a drive letter)
type> assign letter=R
type> exit
type> reagentc /disable

You can now browse thru R and find Install.wim or Install.swm(s) - those are your Factory recovery Images..

Note: Assuming the install* file(s) are on "R" and in a folder called "RecoveryImage"
Note: Change "drive letter" and "folder name" to suit your system setup

type> Reagentc /Setosimage /Path R:\RecoveryImage /Target C:\Windows /Index 1

type> reagentc /enable
reboot PC

I just want to check first. Will this process reset my PC completely, or will I still keep my files, but just need to reinstall ALL apps?

the process will re-register your factory recovery images.. Which should then correct your OKR issues..

How about the troubleshoot option?

Oops, correction. The troubleshoot option doesn't even appear at all.

OK. There seems to be 4 volumes.
Volume ### Ltr Label FS Type Size Status Info
0 E - - DVD-ROM 0B No Media -
1 C Windows8_OS NTFS Partition 597GB Healthy Boot
2 D LENOVO NTFS Partition 25GB Healthy -
3 - SYSTEM_DRV FAT32 Partition 260MB Healthy System
4 F Dell Portab NTFS Partition 1863GB Healthy
I looked inside D: and there's a hidden directory which contains default.okd
Which one do I chose? Also, how about the troubleshoot option?

There's nothing here related to the recovery partition. Is that a problem?

You can try to find Install.wim or Install.swm(s) - those are your Factory recovery Images..

Otherwise you have no recovery left and OKR is useless..

I attempted to dual boot a Linux distro on my computer and found extra partitions on the drive. These are the partitions in order of the list.

Number size type
1 1000G -
2 260M EFI System
3 1000G -
4 128M Microsoft Reserved
5 (This is my C: drive in Windows)
6, 7, 8 450M -
9 350M -
10 (Probably my D: drive in Windows)
11 20G - (Could this be my long lost recovery partition?)

The other 2 are for Linux.
There are no more hard drives plugged in. Could partition 11 be my recovery partition? If so, is it damaged?

If partition 11 (from my previous reply) is my recovery partition (and is not damaged), should I resize the partition and create a recovery disc?

I checked a partitioning program, EaseUS Partition Manager, and partition 1 is WINRE_DRV. In Disk Management, there is nothing.

I also tried expanding my main partition. Turns out that 20G partition was my OEM partition. Still, is WINRE_DRV my recovery partition?

WINRE = is the recovery tools partition
there is also another partition with a recovery ID that has your recovery images (usually a 10-20GB partition)

So you should have at least two recovery partitions

Oh. I don't think it's there. I think I will nee3d to call Lenovo for a recovery disc. Anyway, what about the troubleshoot problem?

look man.. you have a Lenovo.. thats the problem 1st off.. but here is the solution you dont need a recovery disk..

you also can just install windows and not even worry about one key recovery.. you only need it if you want whatever crap came with your computer.. and trust me, Lenovo only puts crap on there.. so you can always download drivers from lenovo driver website for your model..

and actually try to find the guy who posted on the actual lenovo forum to fix it would be the real best but i remember these from the past..
