CPU High Usage

I have recently upgraded my HP Pavilion G6 laptop from windows 7 home premium to windows 8.1.
Since then I am having some issues with my laptop, when I am on internet explorer and open couple of pages say open 4 different web pages. My laptop stops responding, fan kicks in, and when I look at task manager cpu usage reaches to 52 percent and laptop becomes so slow. But these conditions were never observed while having win 7 premium, I could open up 10 to 20 different pages even then my laptop never become slow or non responsive.


Can someone please help me to solve this issue asap, I am going crazy.

Click on CPU under the processes tab in task manager and see what's using so much resources. when it's running high again make a capture of the task manager window and post it.
