Hey everyone.

My laptop is 2 years old, when i first bought it stayed cool even when playing games at the highest resolution possible, the temperature stayed under 60 most of the time, but for the past couple of weeks it gets hot when im just browsing the net, the temperature stays between 55 and 60 , and i haven't noticed any lack of performance which is why im wondering is it because the dust has accumulated over these past 2 years (i haven't cleaned my laptop) or is the fan needs to be replaced?. Thanks in advance, any help would be appreciated.
My specs are:

Cpu: I5 3230
Gpu: Intel Hd Graphics 4000
4 GB RAM
500 GB HDD

Sound like it needs a good cleanup. Either with compressed air (carefully) or give it to a pro who can open it.

...and afterwards, consider buying and using an external usb-powered or ac-powered notebook cooling assembly [either with one giant fan or twin fans] alsong with 2-4 additional usb ports.

Replacing the HDD with a SSD helps also to reduce laptop heat.

Never cleaned in 2 years? Fan most likely froze solid from dust/dirt/hair.

Can't help but ask if you have a car do you ever change the oil in it?

Looking at the screen shot. The temp is in 50~60 which is normal for laptop even though it is a little bit high. It is OK to use compressed air with the desktop but not for laptop, I would use a vacumn cleaner hose and try to suck out the dirt built inside over the year and of course, much better way is to open it then you can use compressed air to clean.

My main concern for not cleaning the laptop is that im scared that someone might damage it, as for the vacuum cleaner i thought of using it couple of times but i've read in a handful of articles that it creates a large static build up that could discharge into the sensitive electronics and burn your components, I do appreciate your help guys , i think i'll just have to suck it up and look for someone to clean it.

I have used a can of compressed air for years on all my laptops where the heatsink fins are located. It blows the dust out of the vent and also reaches the fan blowing gunk out of it. Never had a problem. However if the fan is completely clogged it may not work.
