Disable c:\windows\winstore\wshost.exe Storebroker?

I get regular prompts by NIS Firewall showing that wshost.exe, Store Broker is trying to access the internet. Is this process essential for proper Windows funcionality? Can I disable it? If so, how? Thanks

I think by "local user account", they mean an account without Administrator privileges. I guess that if you are an Admin, the Windows store is always ready to install stuff for you, and if you are not an admin, then it isn't ready to install stuff.

You cannot disable them and it is not suggested as well.

Well, if the user does not use MS store, he can safely disable them both. I did without problems.
Runtime Broker is a service called Time Broker, which can be disabled through registry.
As for the WSHost.exe - it is MS task, which can be disabled through Task Scheduler.

Why not disable it directly from Administrative Tools/Services? It's listed as you say, "Time Broker", description:"Coordinates execution of background work for WinRT application. If this service is stopped or disabled, then background work might not be triggered.", Path:"C:\Windows\system32\svchost.exe -k LocalServiceAndNoImpersonation"

It can be only stopped, but not disabled from there, since it is considered to be essential by MS.

Weird, maybe there are some other tasks, which run it. I have deleted most of them, so I can not check.

Yes, 4 is Disabled, 3 is Manual and 2 is Automatic startup.
