Hey everyone. I have a new issue with Windows maybe someone has ran into before.. There is a issue where where when I shut down or put to sleep I get a black screen and won't shut down almost like its freezing up. I get HDD activity and all by quick buttons like WIFI and Volume mute button will still be on but I have to hold the power button down and force shut down the computer in order to shut it down. I don't wanna keep force shutting it down so I don't damage my new HDD due to dropping the handle on the drive.. Any idea's on how to correct this? Has anyone else ran into this issue?

The system boots up and no issues with Windows it's self. The issue is where when I put it to sleep...shut down... and recently reboot. It hangs. I don't get any error messages and I don't know where to really look to find out what is causing the hang. I swapped the drive with my old Toshiba HDD and used that for a few hours and got the same result.

Appears you have a driver issue somewhere. Anything strange in Device Manager, enable show hidden devices also. I have deleted all hidden devices in the past and reboot. If nothing else it cleans out some of the junk.
I wonder if a recent Windows update may have messed something up. Has happened before.
