After several sfc /scannow and Dism runs in admin command prompt I get the following attachment reports.
I have looked at the logs of both and also visited the Microsoft page indicated in the Dism report.
Both go way over my head in trying to find an answer to this problem, something about a source.
Any suggestions to solve this problem would be appreciated.

Followed the advice in your link using the command prompt, this again states there is no source details on my computer
Have found the original Sources location in C drive, unfortunately they are all empty.
So how can I obtain these sources and from where?

This is a tough one.

Try this formation of cmds---

Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

sfc /scannow

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

sfc /scannow

Other than reinstalling your OS, that's all I can think of doing. :(

Thanks for the reply David
Just finished your first cmd, see attachment, and have already done your other suggestions several times already.
It looks like a reinstallation is on the cards.
Thank you for your helpful suggestions

Success at last, it would be nice if such a simple way to solve this problem was available on the Microsoft website instead of all the technical jargon which did not solve this problem.

To correct the missing Registry sources do the following.

Open Action Centre, Recovery, System Restore, tick Show More Restore Points and look for the following Auto System Restore. highlighted on the System Restore attachment.

After you have re signed in you must restart the computer for the update to take place.
