Solved Desktop Icon Load Issue

Hi,

I have recently upgraded from 7 to 8.1 and the desktop icons seem to take ages to load from start up. If I right click on the desktop this seems to spring them into action and they load quite quickly however if I do not right click on the desktop, the desktop background is displayed and the icons take ages to load.


If anyone else has experienced this problem and has managed t find a fix, I would be grateful for the knowledge.

Thanks for looking however I have traced the issue.

It seems as though there is a bug of some description in an application called Fences as other users of this program have also experienced this and reported the issue. Although my problem still exists it is does not appear to be a Windows one.
