(Windows system image backup)-compatible imaging program

I am currently storing my users and program files folders in separate drives. I use system image to keep my C: backed up. But windows system image forces me to store the program files (x86)* and users drive as well, defeating the whole point of keeping different drives.

I know about Macrium and Paragon, which can image backup just one drive, but I was wondering if there was a tool that generates windows system images in such a way that I can use Windows RE itself to restore the image, using "system image restore". Basically I want to backup using 3rd party tools, and restore using Windows tools.

Possible?

Any other solutions to this?

Hi,
The answer as far as I know is a big no, you have to use whatever you used in the first place to make the image, and then restore it using the same software.

Currently I have 5 different images on my NAS box, the Windows one, Macrium, Easeus, Paragon, Aomei. Every one seems to use different compression and does it their own way. The chances of compatibility with each another has to be zero chance.

Also their Boot discs be they Win PE or Linux based also seem to have various problems as well, I'm still working on figuring those out.
Hence me trying out 5 ways of doing the same thing.
