I just got a message on my hp laptop this morning saying I had low disk space on my C drive, which is my primary drive but when I checked to see how much space was left it says I have 846gbs free out of 908gbs. Why would I get this message when it looks as if I have plenty of free space?

Are you sure that was a message about low disk space, and not maybe about low virtual memory?

I ran that first scan and didn't have any malware. I'm not sure if I want to run the second program because I wouldn't know what to tell the program to delete if it found something.
And here's a screen cap of my message.
It says low drive space on C drive so I don't think it has to do with my memory.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've had this computer since January and never ran into that message before. I did however just restored the computer back to it's factory settings about a week ago because of problems I've been having with my wireless adapter. This was per a suggestion from HP themselves.
I think I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling HP support and see if that helps.
