Deleting 158GB in found.000 (is it safe?)

Alright, so I just found after a disk error repair, that some failed file transfers had been put into found.000 - found.009, 158 GB to be precise. How would I know it it's safe to delete these files, and how would I go about doing it?

Sure about not missing anything, doublechecked? Then go ahead and reclaim the space IMO.

Offtopic, don't know the specific details, but personally would not use a disk for anything important (or not at all) after any serious errors, even when (maybe...) sucessfully repaired.

It does not have to be disk's fault, data corruption can be caused by many software factors. Best to check it with test utility from that particular brand. Check here for diagnostic program for your drive.
