Hello!

I am just wondering is there any way to remove or somehow modify start screen new search and power options icons on Windows 8.1 Update 1? Does anybody knows how to do this?

Hello wilson333 and welcome:
You can remove the 'Power' button but not 'Search'...

... you'll need to modify the Windows Registry:
