Battery Life on Metro

To me this seems a fundamental feature that is missing, Battery level indicator. On desktop it is there bottom right where it has always been but in metro it is not on the metro tiles & not even under settings, infact in metro I cannot find the battery states level anywhere??? Since microsoft is moving to metro from desktop it seems silly that the battery level is not pinned onto metro. How do I find the battery level in metro & is there a way to add the battery level onto metro as a time or somewhere else on the metro screen. Thanks :D

You can find the battery indicator by hovering the right bottom corner and activating charm bar. It will show the clock, date, battery and connection indicator, too.

Thanks for that, this is now more difficult than just having the battery as an icon on the home metro screen is there a way to create a metro icon with the battery logo or %. Battery Metro.png

+1 here. on an os thats basically designed for tablets, which are of course battery, this is a glaring omission.
that is the most important piece of information to have.
a nice tile on the metro screen with the % in big numbers (i have googled but no luck)
doesnt matter how many gigabytes/cpu cores/megapixels you have if your battery is dead
