The last round (3-12) of nine Windows updates (included KB 2919442 the "spring release / Win 8.1 update 1") Usually when the installation starts one thing you see is "creating a restore point' - that did not happen this time for me. Found that strange but figured maybe a day later the system would create one - it didn't. I know I can create one manually but am wondering if anyone else has seen the same thing ?
Edit: Answer System Restore creates a restore point before the installation of CRITICAL Updates, not important.
