    file scan

After running sfc file scan it said no integrity violations found, and then it said @openwithtoastlogo.png2a.I have run this scan many times, and nothing like that ever came up. What does it mean? The most recent thing i have done was to install classic shell 4.0.4.

You could play around with this and perhaps you might figure something out:

    Download ShellExView - MajorGeeks

Check your CBS log file: C:\Windows\Logs\CBS

Quick scan & Full scan
As a practice if a Quick scan detects something I fix it & then run a Full scan & a boot time scan. Avast just detected 1 infection. When the scan is complete I will fix it & do as I stated above. I really should run scans more often, as should everyone. 46771

How do I do a manual scan of one file with Windows defender and Win 8?
Hi, In Windows 7 I used to be able to right click on a file and one of my choices was to scan with Microsoft security essentials, but that's no longer in my right click menu. How do I go about doing a manual scan on just one file using Microsoft's (I guess it's now Defender) Security Essentials...
