DPC Latency pretty high with spikes. Need help

Hello there!
As I was having problems regarding stuttering with Battlefield 4 since I started playing it, I decided to run DPC Latency Checker and see if it helps me find the culprits. What I found was pretty weird. The latency was at 1000us with occasional red spikes that are more present during the gameplay. I've tried disabling network adapter, sound and USB ports and nothing helped...
Here is a screenshot to visualize the problem:

I heard that it is normal for a system to have below 500us if I'm not mistaken and this is way above that. Maybe it is my HDD as it is pretty old (around 4.5 years) and it's SATA. I've tried disabling virtual memory and it seems that it helps a bit fix the stuttering. Also this video shows my problem exactly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c49p55OI2vY

My system:
Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-D3 (Latest FD bios. Was thinking of downgrading, maybe it has to do something with it, what do you think?)
CPU: AMD FX-8320 @ 3.5ghz
GPU: ASUS HD7790 DirectCU II
RAM: Kingston HyperX DDR3 2x4GB @ 1600mhz (X.M.P is on)
HDD: WD 320GB SATA (To be precise: WDC WD3200AAKS-00L9A0 ATA Device; that's what it says in Device Manager)
PSU: LC Power LC600H-12 600W
Windows 8.1 Pro x64

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The DPC Latency Checker is NOT Windows 8 compatible. It will show the large spikes. They note that on their web site., They have been working on a Win 8 compatible version for almost a year but its still not available.

If you are having any problems, since you have a Gigabyte motherboard, if you have installed EasyTune6, that will cause latency problems (not what the DPC latency checker is showing). I have a Gigabyte motherboard GAZ77X UD5H that I use as my recording studio system and I accidentially installed the EasyTune 6 (in Windows 7) and I was having DPC latency spikes and dropouts and clicks in my recording software. Uninstalling the EasyTune6 took care of the DPC latency spikes and my DPC Latency was below 100us.

I used LatencyMon and it says that the culprits are ataport.sys and ndis.sys
What does that mean?
