how do I install files from back up dvd

I reinstalled windows 8 and in the process made a back up dvd of all my personal files etc. I reinstalled windows 8 and inserted the dvd. When I opened the file it had a lot of wim files and 2 recovery manager files. How do I go about reinstalling these files on my computer? Thank you.
