Solved Windows 8.1 Extreme Nonstop Lag

(Solved) So lately ( AKA 3 months), I've been having some problems with my Windows 8.1 PC, w/ AMD FX-1400 Quad-Core Processor, 8.00 GB of RAM, and a 64 bit OS. I've had it for about 10 months now, and it worked fine up until back a few months ago. Basically, I boot the PC up, and everything is fine- no signs of lag, nothing. After I log in, it's all smooth going for approx. 30 seconds, and then suddenly 8.00 GB seems to turn into 0.50 MB (exaggeration.) the cursor moves across the screen just fine, but the speed of anything else on the screen that moves could be easily compared to that of a snail. When I say lag, I mean slow and twitchy, rather than just slow moving. Anyways, I've tried a multitude of things- virus checks (zero viruses), disabling search indexing, deleting unused files, and some other things I forgot . All emoticons aside, I need some help, my brain is hurting from the size of this iPhone. PS I came to this site hoping that maybe people wouldn't be rude with their responses, as the last site I went to was too hardcore for n00bz like myself, and I found some real... Never mind. The point is, please try not to be a jerk even if I seem stupid.

Now, now, profiling a group of people as potential "jerks" without even reading thru a lot of themes and posts will not get you anywhere. I have a pretty short fuse and would not spend a minute on this forum if I thought there were any ( at least from the "old guard").
On with your problem. If you are sure there's no malware there are quite a few things that can cause symptoms like that.
You can check if there are any processes that are taking a lot of system time and memory. A lots of times an AV can put quite a damper on system speed, if you have any, try shutting it down and see what happens.
Another thing could be improperly set Power Saving features so try setting them to high performance and see if it's something there, that also includes "Cool$Quiet" from AMD.
Check in Msconfig/Boot/Advanced Options if it is set to run an all 4 cores and if Maximum memory is set.
Just in case there's something wrong with video side of things check and/or replace, upgrade or reinstall video card drivers.
On the hardware side, download "CPUID CpuZ" ( CPU-Z CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting ) and see if the processor and memory are running at declared speed.
Check temperatures and voltages (if you already did not) with some reliable program like CPUID Hardrware Monitor because heat can produce throttling and reduce speed to minimum.
