I noticed this issue the other day after downloading a game and tried to play it, it would load and then cut connection to the server, this however I don't believe has anything with the problem I'm dealing with currently.
Whenever I play a game, run a system process, or do anything really my Disk Usage spikes up to 100% between .5mb/s~3mb/s usage
However I noticed while it is at 100% if i start a download, or something that will run the usage up to 25~40mb/s the percentagedrops from 100% to anywhere between 40~60%
I'm currently using an Asus Q550LF notebook, the system specs are here
Asus 15.6" TouchScreen Laptop 8GB Memory 1TB Hard Drive Q550LF-BBI7T07 - Best Buy
Normally the HDD will be reading anywhere between 2~6mb/s and the write is between 0kb/s~1.4MB/S
I have a samsung ST1000M024 HN-M101MBB disk drive.
I tried contacting windows support and they said they would try to fix the problem for $100 so I may try that but I don't know exactly how long this has been persisting.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
