    Superfetch enabled on my SSD?

Windows 8/8.1 is supposed to have superfetch disabled automatically when it recognizes a SSD, but mine is enabled. I have a SSD but also a secondary HDD that is accelerated with a 25 mSATA SSD via Intel Rapid Storage Technology. I'm assuming since the second HDD is enhanced with a SSD then there should be no reason whatsoever to leave superfetch on... Am I wrong? I'm thinking I should turn it off, and if there's anything else you think I should do to improve my settings or stop any services I don't need, please do feel free to let me know.

No, in windows 8/8.1 it's enabled even if you have an SSD. Superfetch is different. It ignores it. You can disable print spooler and bluetooth service and homegroup services if you don't share files over your network.

Why does UAC have to be enabled to use any Modern Apps
I don't understand why Microsoft requires UAC to be enabled for me to use any Modern Apps or the App Store. I always turn off UAC and one of the programs I use, Object Rexx from IBM does not run correctly with UAC enabled. I find the UAC prompts intrusive and extremely annoying and as far as I'm...

Force SuperFetch to NOT ignore SSD.
Is there anyway to force SuperFetch in Windows 8.1 to not ignore SSD's? I like the way SuperFetch ran in Windows 7 on my SSD boot drive, it did not ignore the SSD and was more aggressive which made loading programs smoother if the program being loaded was already cached. Maybe through regedit...

IIS Enabled
I recently upgraded to Windows 8.1. I noticed in C:\Users that there was a folder named DefaultAppPool. It was created around the time I installed Windows 8.1. With further research I found out it was related to IIS. I looked at the enabled Windows features and found that part of IIS was enabled...
