w8.1 a folder openes at startup?!

As I start my Surface Pro the normal Start appeares. By tapping a Desktop tile I see My PC folder opened instead of desktop wallpaper... I need someone of you guys to help me bypass this. This started to happen after I installed recent apps updates. As far as I can remember, no registry tweaks nor system modifications were made by me. Thank you for your time!

Open Folder Options:

Click/tap on the View tab, scroll down until you've found "Restore folder windows at logon".
Uncheck that option, then try restart.

By default that field was empty, but by selecting and deselecting it I managed to solve the problem. I'll try to restart again and see what happenes. Many thanks!!

Here we go again :/ Again I see opened folder when accessing desktop tile after start up... Any ideas? My start up folder is cleared, as are start up entries and programs but still that one folder opens upon login to Windows 8.

EDIT: This is the case only when my Surface is plugged in
