Hello realray,
My inital advice is to avoid all external cleaners and maintenance programs as the are not generally required for the average user.
However, if you insist on using one, I offer these following comments regarding same:
Ccleaner:
I was one of the early "lab rats" for Pinform way back when and it always broke something with every point issue update. Most times, this is/was because people tried to run it with all options set to maximize the cleaning capability. Now, if you visit the Pinform forums, you'll see that this issue still exists today. So, if you are going to try it, I would strongly suggest you run it with minimum options set:

Advanced Care: Never used it.
Wise Disk Cleaner: I do use this on an infrequent basis but I usually only run it to see what needs to be cleaned. However, if and when I decide to use it, it has worked well because this program focuses on System Files only; whereas Ccleaner tries to incorporate "special considerations" for applications as well and that's where their concept is flawed because any change/update to the actual application (by the software vendor) can cause Ccleaner to malfunction based on the software's last known configuration. Most times, you'll discover this type of behavior when a button doesn't work in a specific software application and the first thought is to blame the software update for the issue; however, many times, the problem can actually be traced back to Ccleaner not updating their application cleaning options.
Wise Registry Cleaner: Again, if you must use one, I have found this to be the best of the lot.
I'm not going to provide any links because I really don't think you need the external stimulus. I would much rather see people better educate themselves on how to use the inherent maintenance tools to maintain their PCs. Good luck.
