High DPC, can't figure out why

Hello,

I reinstalled Windows 8 Pro a couple of days ago, then I remembered about the high DPC problems. I managed to fix it before but I honestly can't remember what I did. I've read plenty of helpful and knowledgeable posts on here so thought I'd register and ask.

I'll list all the hardware connected to my PC:

- ASRock Z68 Pro 3 (I know, old)
- Intel i5 3570K
- 16GB DDR3
- ADATA 120GB SSD SATA3
- Various SATA2 drives
- NO OPTICAL
- Corsair H100i (with USB)
- Corsair K50 Keyboard
- Corsair M40 Mouse
- Philips USB Headset
- 2 x AOC 24" Monitors

I'm using the latest drivers I could find. I do notice crackles and pops when playing games and listening to music, and the high DPC starts right after Windows has booted. I did manage to fix it beforehand, as previously mentioned, but can't remember what I did.
