SFC Scan weirdness

After it gets to 100% you have to wait for it to finish - It can take up to another half hour when it gets there. Don;t cancel it, just let it finish. Go get coffee, if it is not too hot outside.

it never takes this long it always snap does it i never knew this was an issue..did i turn something off that i wasn't supposed to ?

The time it takes to complete a SFC scan varies. If it found any corrupted system files, then it could take longer than usual.
Does it finish the scan if you let it sit for about a half hour or so?

You did it wrong.
What you should see is this when you start the scan:
You used the wrong directory & left no space between C & /. --- sfc/scannow(wrong) -- sfc /scannow(correct):

That is the indication you will get after the update that made the SFC think all your system files were unrepairable.
You need to run the Dism /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth command.
