Hello everyone,
I am new to the forums and I need some help desperately. I am running windows 8 Pro, and I have messed up my ability to right click something and click send to Desktop (create shortcut). I was messing around with the idea of creating a custom send to (create shortcut) option. I did the most stupid thing I could have ever done, I hit windows key + R and typed in shell:sendto this opened a folder containing all the send to shortcuts associated with the right click, send to menu. I right clicked the send to desktop (create shortcut) shortcut (in the folder that poped up when runing shell:sendto) and set it to run with note pad. Now I cannot send items to the desktop as a desktop anymore from the right click - send to menu. How can I set the send to desktop (create shortcut) as a shortcut as it was once before without redoing windows?
