Solved ASUS Windows 8 Random Freezing (please help)

This has been happening for a while, my computer will randomly freeze up, most the time I can move my mouse around but my internet seems to cut out (cant load any pages), all applications start to not respond, and it takes around 1-3 minutes to unfreeze.I was looking at other threads that seemed to not help really, but I guess I could upload my event log in eventvwr if that might help.I have a ASUS G46V gaming laptop.

You have tons of disk I/O errors and this indicates a hardware problem with either the disk itself or the disk controller:

Troubleshooting the disk:
Download CrystalDiskInfo and see if you can read the SMART data from the drive.
If an SSD, check to make sure your partitions are properly aligned.

Troubleshoot the controller:
Download latest chipset drivers (if Intel) or latest SATA drivers (if AMD).

Sorry to be so brief but I am growing tired of writing book-length responses and getting no replies at times. Someday, I will learn how to master the one-line response technique that many forum gurus seem to use successfully. Good luck.

Can you go into just a little more detail about troubleshooting the disk? I downloaded the program and all I could really see that troubled me was it said 'Health Status: Caution'.

If you know the make and model of your hard drive you can go to the manufacturers website and download a free utility to check your hard drive for errors. Those utilities are usually pretty straight forward, pass or fail. I have never used CrystalDiskInfo so I have no idea what your screen shot means.

The computers hard drive finally crashed today, brought the computer into BestBuy (where I bought it from). Solved I guess.
