Solved Windows 8.1 New Start Button - Add Functionality

OK, so we didn't get the fully functional Start Button back but this free utility will help you make the most of it:

I am currently using it to modify my own 8.1 Start Button. Here is my work in progress:

Hi vrosa and SIW2,

Have you actually tried Classic Shell on the new 8.1 Preview release? If so, can either of you confirm that it does, in fact, still work?

I had several issues with it when I installed it last, can you confirm these have been fixed.

#1 On tablets when you rotate to side and then to the top of the screen it rotates as expected but then will be stuck and you can never rotate back to the bottom, side to side works but you can never get Windows to go to the bottom. This is a Classic Shell issue, removing it Windows rotates all directions fine.
#2 No 64bit version, is there now?
#3 Clicking the ORB the fly-out menu gets stuck for a second, or is jerky. Tried several machines works the same.
#4 Custom ORBs: Will not stop the animation so it will just keep glowing or moving all the time even when not pressing the ORB.

Never used it on a tablet.

The new version 3.6.7 is excellent on my desktop. No probs at all.
