Hard Drive

Hello......I am new to this site and I have a question, I have a Vizio laptop running Windows 8 and have a 104 GB internal hard drive. I am currently using approx. 80 GB, my question is this normal amount to be running. I don't have any games on my hard drive to take up so much space. I also have been attempting to delete the old Windows 7 folder and as of this time I am unable to complete this action. Any help and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I read through this post and I might be doing something wrong. But every time I attempt it does not let the folder go into the recycle bin because some folders are still being used??
