Does anyone know what the RAM WEI score is based on? I just added an extra 8GB and the scored didn't move so much as .1.

When I switched from 4GB of RAM to 6GB of RAM, my WEI didn't change, but then I applied a small overclock and it went .5 on the WEI, so I think it's the speed of the RAM, not the amount of RAM that determines the memory score...which makes sense...

Thanks! That's the Intel mobo and the Q6600 CPU that have stood the test of time! This PC is over 5 years old and is still rock solid reliable and fast enough for what I do. I'm not a gamer (obviously), so my hardware requirements aren't that stringent.

I had the Q6600 for a long time. Loved that CPU. It would overclock like nobody's business.

I overclocked a PIII 750Mhz up to 1Ghz (25% overclock!), way back when the PIII Tualatin chip was the hot item! Then I realized that for all of the $ spent on fans, heatsinks, coolers, etc... I could have just bought the faster chip! It was fun, though. I have never overclocked this CPU and the Intel board doesn't support. I just wanted reliable, rock-solid performance and that's what I got, no complaints here at all!

Sure, it's 800Mhz PC2-6400. Two of the sticks are high quality 667Mhz and I'm running all 4 sticks at 800Mhz...
