I'll set and save the Power Saving "advanced settings" and when I reboot and check, I keep finding settings have been altered, Lid close for example is Shut Down but after reboot it has changed to Sleep.
Changes also occur in Processor Power Management and Sleep button.
Oddly enough I had the exact same problems in Windows 7.
Any constructive solutions welcome.
Other changes occur in Updates (even when turned off in System Configuration it keeps turning back on) as well as
Global Position....Off then comes back on.
