Windows 8 built in system backup

Hi Folks,

Can anyone help with this problem.
I did a trial backup to sort out any problems with the backup system in case I needed to use it if windows started playing up
I used windows 8 built in system backup facility to backup my entire drive c including windows, everything went ok and windows found my external backup drive easy with no problems and I noted that the backup was on the external drive as expected.


Next after about 5 minutes I tried to reinstall the backup to complete the trial run.

This time widows tells me it cant find the backup drive, how can this be ?? it found it only a few minutes earlier at the beginning of the backup.

I have tried to do it twice and get the same result twice.

As the GB H67MA-USB3-B3 has a UEFI/BIOS firmware, are you backing up all the partitions or just C:.

I only backed up drive C, did I do right ??, or should I have backed up more,
I can do the backup again if you think I might have not done it properly,

I am open to suggestions, I have not had windows 8 long enough to know all the answers
