Hi folks!

I'm usually not the one to post a problem here as I can usually figure out the solution, but this one has me stumped. When I lock my screen and leave my computer to do tasks while I'm away, the computer goes into hibernation after an hour or so. I tried fiddling with the power options, but no joy. This is a deal breaker for me. I need to have my computer running while I'm away as I have it doing tasks like rendering video etc. I cannot have it go to sleep! Anyone have any ideas?

Hello Snarks,

The tutorial below can help show you how to disable hibernate.

In addition, double check your advanced power plan options to make sure that you have all of the Sleep settings set to "Never" or "Off".

Hope this helps. :)

Thanks Brink! Once again you have proven you are an asset to this forum. I tried looking through the tutorials, but I couldn't find the one you linked to. Hopefully it will work. Time will tell. I have marked this as solved for now.

Have a real one!
