Hello there,
I recently installed Windows 8 on my laptop and though i enjoy the looks and the way it operates I now have the problem that during gaming the fps drops to near zero after about 5 minutes. This also happens with games that used to run fine on Windows 7.
Specifications:
Dell studio 1558
Processor: Intel (R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M350 @ 2.27GHz 2.26GHz
RAM: 4.00 GB
System type: 64 bit
Display Driver: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5000 series
Directx 11 is installed.
I already tried to make it work with turning Hyper-V on and off, but it doesn't make much of a difference.
Windows says the drivers for the HD 5000 are fully upgraded, but when i tried to download CCC to check it failed to install.
I would really appreciate any help. Please consider that I am new to both these forums and these kind of computer related issues so forgive me when asking unnecessary questions.
