Usb port very slow

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT, 1024 Mb
Hard Drives: Seagate 500gb
Motherboard: MSI, MS-7309

This my system config.
I have two pendrive.when i copy a file to pendrive i get only 600-900KB/s.1st i thought it was problem of ma pen drive.But i get 4MB/s on other computers.My drivers are up to date.

I yesterday bought a 1tb external HDD.that is not detecting on ma pc.please help

I am not sure I can help much, but have you loaded any specific drivers for your system from the manufacturer?

What does device manager show, if anything, in relation to your USB and your new external HD?

Solved.it was the problem of my SMPS. i replaced it
